How it was Done

This project was incredibly fun because the client and colleague are both friends from High School. The owner wanted to allow customers to see his waiting area, to determine how long the wait is. We researched and purchase a Linksys webcam with a built-in server. After that all we had to do was secure a static IP address from his ISP. The camera has been running on Parker's homepage without a single problem since December 2010.

The rest of the site was very straightforward. I worked with my colleague to develop short and to-the-point quips about their styles and facility. The common elements, such as the header and nav, are simple PHP includes. Same goes for all of the metadata and titles in the HTML. Easy as pie.

As they server free beer, I go here for my haircut at least once a month. A great place and great people.
